Russia-Ukraine War
Russia-Ukraine War became a well known event worldwide. Due to social media, rumors have spread quickly, so with these posts, I hoped clear up any questions with the Q & A post and explain what was happening with the remaining posts. Because this event was affecting those around the world, I thought it would a good idea talk about what was happening around the world, like the protests. I specifically chose the color yellow and white for the text colors because they are a color from each of the countries' flag.
Endangered Animals
Sometimes people are unaware of the decrease of the animal population, which are oftentimes due to humans' actions. With these posts, I hope to bring awareness and improve the situation. I made the post simple, so the eyes of the viewers would be attracted to the pictures and then getting straight into the facts. I made sure to bold important words, such as their conservation status and the animal's population.
About O Yeong-su
Many Asian actors and artists are not awarded for their hard work and talent that they put into their work, so I wanted to make a post about O Yeong-su because at the time, he recently became the first South Korean actor to win a Golden Globe Award. Based off of the Korean flag, I made the background blue and the text white to represent the Korean flag. I also added a post about other shows that he has acted in to promote his hard work.
India's COVID-19 Crisis
As I designed these posts, I took into account that our main audience was teens, so I made sure the information was nice and short but still informative. I titled each infographics to make the topics clear for the audiences and bolded the most important words in each bullet point. I also created a graph for the audience to visualize the significant increase of COVID-19 cases. In addition, I chose the color orange as it was one of the colors on India's flag.
Atlanta Shooting
As the continuous mass shootings occur in the US, I believe that it is important to inform our audience about the events. I also included the victims' names for others to remember them.
New History Class Pathway
With the multiple history classes being changed at Carlmont High School, students and parents may be confused on that choices that they have and what they will learn. With this infographic, people will be able to easily explore the courses that they will take in the future. I put in a little description for each class and a link for more depth information. To try the infographic, click on the picture below!
