Starting in 2021, the social media team decided to utilize photojournalism. Since in-person school began, it was a great way to start photojournalism as there were many exciting school events to be captured, ranging from student performances to sports games.

We found that our audiences would have more engagement with the photojournalism posts. This may be because the photos include students in action, which could be the interest our audiences love. In addition, the photos display people who the audience may know and want to share it with other people, increasing the engagements.
